The primary goal of education is to replace ignorance, ambiguity, prejudice, and obscurity in all fields of study with the light of knowledge. Classrooms with black and white boards and projectors, a student-centered teaching approach, an educational environment, and well-equipped laboratories – Raidighi College has all you need for an undergraduate student's overall growth. Co-curricular activities are an important part of UG education, and our college offers a variety of them, including fitness activities, physical training, yoga and meditation, and mind engineering, all of which help to refresh the young minds. Raidighi College is committed to shaping young minds for a better tomorrow. Following the unprecedented lockdown scenario across the globe, our obstacles in restoring normalcy to our institution were broad and vital. However, we worked with individuals who had a positive attitude and were able to conquer the first hurdle. The college is now preparing to welcome the first batch of students under the National Education Policy (NEP 2020). As part of the nationwide implementation of NEP 2020, our college, like any other of its counterparts, has also adopted the UGC Curriculum and Credit Framework for Undergraduate Programmes (CCFUGP). We hope that this new adventure will be fruitful and educational for the college as a whole.
Raidighi College is located in an area which is socio-economically backward. Natural calamities are part and parcel of the people of this locality, students who come to pursue their higher studies are very poor. They sometimes fail to pay the minimum fees of the college. For the development of infrastructure we always look forward the grants allocated by the different Government agencies.College is in urgently in need to develop some infrastructure which are mostly for the welfare of our students.
The vision of the College is to carve a niche for itself as a premier institution offering quality education to the poverty-stricken, under-developed community of rural marshlands of Sundarban. The college endeavors to strengthen character, broaden mind, dispel superstition, impart moral values and consequently develop generations of worthy and responsible human beings who will build our future society.
Raidighi College provides multiple scholarship opportunities for deserving students. Assistance is available for government scholarships, minority schemes, Kanyashree, SC/ST grants, and merit-based support. Our aim is to ensure that financial hardship never becomes an obstacle to education. Students are guided throughout the application process to obtain maximum benefits.
